“Rather than picking one story in particular, one of the most positive things that I have been reporting on is the changing behavior of Americans. It’s clear that our culture of excess and greed has changed in a major way. Americans are saving dramatically compared to just a few years ago, for example. I think that people’s perception of wealth has changed in a healthy way. The idea that you have to work hard to make money and just keep your job these days is starting to sink in. I think that is a very positive result of an extremely trying time.”
